how do i get ActivArmor?

Tell your physician that you are interested in getting an ActivArmor cast for your recovery and they will decide if this type of device is appropriate for your specific injury. Your physician may then refer you to the Colorado Institute of Sports Medicine to begin an easy 5 step process:

  1. Wear a cast or splint until the swelling goes down

  2. Undergo a safe, painless, and quick 3D scan

  3. Wrap a bi-valved cast or use a free splint while your ActivArmor device is custom designed and fabricated

  4. Make a trip to the CISM facility to be fitted for your ActivArmor device once it arrives. Alternately, the device may be mailed directly to you and a virtual fitting may be done for those unable to return to CISM (Out of state or otherwise). The ActivArmor device eliminates all the rest of the re-casting and splinting throughout your healing process

  5. Enjoy your active lifestyle while you heal!

The typical turnaround time from the scan until the device is ready to be fit is 48 hours (not including weekends).
